Coupled with navigation systems, facial recognition or object, these lenses could be used to visually impaired because the device could send a signal to the smartphone that would trigger a specific ring in case of danger, or equipped with an LED system these lenses would allow police officers to see a suspect surrounded by a red light.
With all these technological advances, linking increasingly the human with the Cloud, homo sapiens sapiens, would he becoming homo connecticus?
